גובה המענק עד 40,000 ₪
בכל סבב יבחרו עד שני חוקרים/ות לקבלת המענק בהליך תחרותי
הקול הקורא פתוח לחוקרים וחוקרות מכלל המוסדות האקדמיים בישראל כולל מכללות ומכוני מחקר ממשלתיים (למעט אוניברסיטת תל אביב) המעוניינים להתחיל שיתוף פעולה עם מכון IIASA ומכון ארכימדס
פרטי ההגשה (באנגלית)
יש להגיש הצעה באמצעות טופס מקוון. על ההצעה לכלול את הפרטים הבאים:
שם מלא ודרגה
מחלקה ומוסד
תחום מחקר / מהו הנושא אותו החוקר/ת מעוניינ/ת לפתח ולבחון לשיתוף הפעולה (תיאור קצר של הנושא והחדשנות שלו ולאיזה מקבוצות המחקר של מכון ארכימדס המחקר מתקשר בהקשר הרחב שלו)
האם קיימת לדעתכם זיקה למכון IIASA? במידה וכן, פרטו בקצרה לאיזה קבוצת מחקר / חוקרים ספציפיים, האם נוצר קשר ראשוני
תקציב ראשוני– מהם הצרכים אותם יכסה המענק (נסיעות, מלגאים וכו')

אודות מרכז ארכימדס
ארכימדס הינו מרכז ידע לאומי, המקדם את תחום ניתוח המערכות היישומי בישראל, תוך מתן דגש למערכות מורכבות ואופטימיזציה שלהן על ידי שימוש במודלים של Integrated Assessment Models (IAM) מודלים מרובי סוכנים, ועוד. המרכז שואף לעודד יישום פתרונות מדיניות להפחתת טביעת הרגל האנושית, לשיפור החוסן של מערכות טבעיות ואנושיות, ולסיוע בהשגת יעדי הפיתוח בר קיימא של האו"ם SDG’s. ליבת העיסוק של המרכז היא מחקר, פיתוח ויישום מודלים בתחומים שונים של מערכות מורכבות ודינמיות.

A call for a grant to examine a potential research collaboration at IIASA
Closed for application | winning proposals will be declared in July 2024
The Archimedes Center grants seed money to senior researchers to test the potential collaborating with researchers and research groups at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA)
Details of the grant
The amount of the grant is up to NIS 40,000 In each round, up to two researchers will be selected to receive the grant in a competitive process.
The call is open to researchers from all academic institutions in Israel, including government colleges and research institutes (with the exception of Tel Aviv University) who are interested in starting a collaboration with the IIASA Institute and the Archimedes Institute.
Submission details
An offer must be submitted in English using an online google form. The proposal must include the following details:
Full name and rank
Department and institution
Research field / what is the topic that the researcher wishes to develop and examine for the collaboration (a brief description of the topic and its innovation and which of the research groups of the Archimedes Institute does the research relate to in its broad context)
Can you indicate an existing connection to the IIASA institute? If so, briefly describe to which research group / specific researchers, whether an initial contact was made
Initial budget - what are the needs that will be covered by the grant (travel, scholarships, etc.)
Deadline Proposals must be submitted by June 20, 2024
